Singapore – The beginning of June 2023 heralds a new phase in Scott Brownrigg’s Singapore Studio as Vivien Leong takes on the leadership as its new director, setting a new course for the studio which is known both locally and regionally for transportation, data centre, hospitality and retail projects.

Vivien, who joined in 2019, has led Scott Brownrigg’s recent successes in the transportation and infrastructure sector including Tavistock Station as part of the Land Transport Authority’s upcoming Cross Island Line development. Further successes in both Singapore and region will be announced shortly.

A registered architect in both Singapore and the UK, she is experienced in winning and leading complex projects in both public and private sectors.

In 2015 Vivien was named one of Singapore’s 15 Great Engineers and Architects Aged 40 and Under by the Singapore Business Review. In 2019 she was the winner in the Design and Style category of Singapore Women’s Weekly Great Women of our Time, recognised for her outstanding career achievements and contributions to society in her field. She has spoken widely at industry events and conferences.

“I feel privileged to be assuming the leadership of Scott Brownrigg’s Singapore studio and will strive to build upon my predecessors’ work and reputation for designing and delivering great projects. The studio is entering a new focused chapter in its growth and development and it’s exciting to be a key part of this,” said Vivien Leong.
