Nemtek Connect is a mobile application designed to remotely monitor and control Nemtek security electric fence energizers equipped with GSM cellular connectivity from anywhere and at any time. It allows users access to real-time information about the energizer’s status, receive real-time alerts, as well as customising the system to their unique needs – all providing increased security and efficiency in managing the security of the electric fence. Whether you need to secure a small residential property, or a large commercial fence, Nemtek Connect provides you with an easy-to-use advanced, flexible and reliable security management solution that ensures the ongoing safety of your property.

Nemtek Connect works by connecting to a Nemtek electric fence energizer with GSM cellular connectivity via a GSM module. This module allows the energizer to communicate with the mobile application, providing real-time updates and control over the electric fence system. Users can access the mobile application from a smartphone or tablet with access to a GSM cellular network, allowing them to remotely monitor and control the electric fence system from anywhere with an internet connection. An external aerial may be required to improve connectivity in areas where the GSM signal is weak.

Senstar announces its systems are now successfully integrated with Genetec’s Security Center via Senstar’s Network Manager software.

\n\n

Network Manager provides the common software interface for monitoring and controlling Senstar perimeter sensors from VMS, SMS, and PSIM systems, and functions as a data server, which collects and distributes alarm point and control point status. Using Network Manager as the sensor interface, the Security Center integration allows sensor zone alarms to be monitored from the Security Center map and alarm monitoring screens, provides the means to trigger Security Center event-to-action programming, and supports arming/disarming individual zone alarms. Full sensor health status is displayed in Security Center and the ability to trigger sensor actions such as relay closures through Security Center event-to-action programming is supported.

Avigilon Corporation announced that it will preview its upcoming high-resolution H4 Thermal camera at the International Fire and Security Exhibition and Conference (IFSEC 2019).

\n\n

The new Avigilon H4 Thermal camera models will combine patented Avigilon technology with heat-sensing capabilities to improve perimeter security in areas with poor visibility, difficult lighting conditions and absolute darkness. The high-resolution H4 Thermal camera will enable users to see more accurately from longer distances, empowering customers with the information they need and helping ensure important details do not go unnoticed.

“We are introducing the high-resolution H4 Thermal camera to bring our customers longer-range detection in locations where environmental factors and lighting conditions are challenging,” said Sergio Parise, senior vice president, Product Development at Avigilon. “With the ability to recognize threats with greater accuracy at longer distances under these conditions, this camera will provide an excellent video security solution for sites requiring perimeter protection.”
