Montreal, Canada – LMPG Inc., formerly known as Lumenpulse Group and a global leader in the specification-grade lighting industry, is proud to announce the launch of its comprehensive sustainability programme, Brighter Future.

This initiative leverages the collective expertise and dedication of all LMPG manufacturing brands. Recognising the critical importance of environmental impact and the social responsibility of companies to provide sustainable solutions, this program aims to deliver exceptional quality, value, and performance while contributing to a healthier planet for generations to come.

This initiative is anchored by four fundamental pillars: Team, Programs, Products, and Operations. Through this programme, LMPG seeks to inspire the lighting industry to participate in meaningful global sustainability efforts that achieve concrete results.

LMPG’s Sustainability Mission Statement:

Environmental Leadership: LMPG is dedicated to setting the standard for environmental practices within the lighting industry, striving to reduce ecological footprints through cutting-edge innovation and operational excellence.

Product Innovation: The Group is committed to designing products that not only enhance built environments but also safeguard the natural world, ensuring a healthier planet for future generations.

Transparency and Accountability: LMPG pledges the highest level of transparency, with sustainability efforts rigorously measured and reported through globally recognised programs and certifications.

Francois-Xavier Souvay, LMPG Founder, President, and CEO, remarked, “The lighting professionals and our partners consistently ask about our sustainability initiatives. While we proudly share our current efforts, we also feel a responsibility to lead and inspire broader industry action. We are ensuring that all our brands offer Declare Label / Red List-Approved products and aim to lead in adopting the TM65 and TM66 standards for embodied carbon and circular economy in EMEA and North America. We’ve brought together 35 of our most passionate leaders from across our brands to develop a sustainability programme that serves as both a resource and a benchmark for the industry. Our focus goes beyond LED efficiency to optical performance, reducing fixture count, dematerialising to cut embodied carbon, and pioneering in technologies like DC-DC and DC Micro-Grid powered buildings.”

LMPG is committed to supporting globally recognised sustainability programmes, including the International Living Future Institute’s Living Building Challenge 4.0 and the International WELL Building Institute’s WELL standards. To further enhance its sustainability efforts, LMPG leverages synergies across its multiple production facilities to optimise manufacturing capabilities, while providing transparency into operational sustainability initiatives with real-time reporting on key metrics and targets on the brands’ websites.
