PHILGBC hosts World Green Building – Asia Pacific Network meeting

Manila, Philippines – From 17-18 November 2017, Philippine Green Building Council (PHILGBC) hosted for the first time the meeting of Leaders from National Green Building Councils in the Asia Pacific regional network of the World Green Building Council (WGBC), held at the Makati Shangri-La hotel, Makati City (Day 1) and at the De La Salle University-Rufino Campus at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. PHILGBC is an Established Member of the World Green Building Council (WGBC), a union of National Green Building Councils (GBCs) from around the world. It is the largest international organisation influencing the green building marketplace representing more than 70 national GBCs.

The WGBC-Asia Pacific regional network is a powerful and collaborative platform where Green Building Councils (GBCs) in the Asia Pacific region exchange knowledge, ideas, and solutions to green transformation of markets in the region.

National Green Building Councils represented during the meeting in Manila include: Green Building Council-Australia, Green Building Council-Indonesia, Malaysian Green Building Confederation, Taiwan Green Building Council, Singapore Green Building Council, Indian Green Building Council, and the Philippine Green Building Council.
